A perfect evening
So I’m sat down right now to get into some more writing for the second chapter of Dave: Zombie Hunter. I have a cup of Madame Flavour’s Green, Jasmine and Pear tea, the iPod is on shuffle and first up is some Queen “You’re My Best Friend” (which always reminds me of my mate Anthony). I’ve also just finished watching Johnny Mnemonic for the first time (bit slow...
A tiny short story
One time there was a monster called Frank. He was scary and no one liked him. So he changed his name to Bill and everyone thought of him as charming and witty. He donned royal velvet clothing and smoked cigarettes through ivory holders and laughed out loud at the giraffe’s jokes.
Unfortunately for Bill, he was really quite Frank and that was all there was to it.

Hey all. For those of you who are new here, those who haven’t read my ‘About’ thingy or those of you who just don’t give a crap (which is cool) I’ve written and produced my first ongoing comic series featuring DAVE. I write, my mate Tim draws and we released the first chapter back in November.

Tumblring and stuff
Of late I’ve been in a bit of a creative rut. Well no thats not true, I’ve been doing stuff but at quite a reduced pace. I think my inspiration batteries need recharging, which is why this blog has been little more than re-blogs recently.
I’m wondering though how this affects my (albeit small) but AWESOME followers (that’s you dude). Are you here to see just...

John Lennon
I was four years old when John Lennon was murdered on December 8th 1980. That was 30 years ago on this day (Australian time).
I don’t remember the event. I didn’t know who John Lennon was really. But I do vividly recall (Just Like) Starting Over, Woman and Watching The Wheels being on the radio a lot when I was young.
In the years since his death I’ve become an avid fan of...
Julian Assange in tomorrow's The Australian.
IN 1958 a young Rupert Murdoch, then owner and editor of Adelaide’s The News, wrote: “In the race between secrecy and truth, it seems inevitable that truth will always win.”
His observation perhaps reflected his father Keith Murdoch’s expose that Australian troops were being needlessly sacrificed by incompetent British commanders on the shores of Gallipoli. The British tried to shut him up but...
It’s funny cos it’s true… :-D

Client: (referring to image of two guys working) “We can’t use this image because of the same-sex couple.”
Me: “What makes you think they’re gay?”
Client: “That guy in front is wearing a polo shirt!”
