I know I did The Crow not that long ago, but this weeks OzComics challenge is ‘Comic Book Romance’ and as far as I’m concerned this is the greatest comic book love story of them all!

Words can’t do justice to my love of this film and the graphic novel that it’s based on. Both are gorgeous works of art that came from tragedy.

When I find myself in a bit of an art rut (or even a general blah mood) I often find myself doodling pictures of The Crow.
This one has been on the go for a little while. It’s drawn on black paper with a variety of markers and liquid paper. I really like how it’s come out and I might try swing the techniques I used in this into my upcoming final piece for a Uni course.
